1、画乡秀洲

　　【字幕】1983年，秀洲8位农民画家创作的作品，在全国首次“中国农民画展”上获奖。

　　Works of eight peasant painters of Xiuzhou Area had been won award of “Chinese Peasant Art Exhibition” for the first time in 1983.

　　【字幕】1997年，浙江省第一座农民画陈列馆-"嘉兴农民画陈列馆"在秀洲开工建设；

　　In 1997, work begun on the construction of the “Jiaxing Peasant Painting Art Gallery” which is the first one in Zhejiang.

　　1999年，建造"秀洲·中国农民画艺术中心"，成为全国画乡的交流平台。

　　The “Xiuzhou China Farmer Painting Art Center” was started in 1999, and became the exchange platform for domestic artists.

　　2001年，首届秀洲˙中国农民画艺术节举行。此后，每2-3年举办一次的农民画艺术节成为中国农民画的艺术盛会。

　　In 2001, the first “China Peasant Painting Arts Festival” was held in Xiuzhou Area. Thereafter the festival was held every 2 or 3 years, and became the art evert of Chinese peasant painting.

　　2002年起，秀洲区创建7个镇级"农民画创作基地"、在中小学校创建了26个"农民画后备人才基地"，培育画乡新秀上千名。

　　They have built 7 peasant painting studios and 26 reserve talents of peasant painting classes of primary or secondary schools in Xiuzhou Area since 2002. So far, they have trained up to a thousand fresh talents.

　　【人物名片】缪惠新，1983年开始农民画创作，擅长将中国元素融入了西方表达手法，有“东方毕加索”之称。

　　Miao Huixin started peasant painting in 1983, and he had the name of “Chinese Picasso”

　　Using western style to express Chinese elements is distinctive of his works.

　　曾在澳大利亚、美国、欧洲、日本等地多次举办过个人画展，还登上美国《时代》周刊亚洲版封面，入选“亚洲十大艺术家”。

　　Not only did he present one-man exhibition such as Australia, USA, Japan and Europe, but also had been on TIME cover and named in the “Top Ten Asian Artists”.

　　【缪惠新采访同期声】：“农民画发展了30多年，这种机遇也许只有中国才有，让我们这群除了种地，另有涂抹颜色喜好的特殊农民，有了关于绘画的经历和创作的故事。”

　　Peasant painting has a history of more than three decades. This opportunity is surely to be taken only in China. In addition to farming, not only we had the experience of painting but also the creative process as peasant painters.

　　2005年起，部分学校开始自编农民画校本教材。秀洲区委、区政府每年评比十佳后备人才基地。

　　A new series of peasant painting textbooks have been designed and published since 2005. Each year the Xiuzhou government honors the Top 10 base of prospective talents.

　　2010年起，创建个人画室8个。

　　They have opened 8 personal studios since 2010.

　　2018年，秀洲区统一校本教材《我学秀洲农民画》进课堂。

　　The textbook of I’m Studying Xiuzhou Peasant Painting was used all over Xiuzhou Area in 2018.

　　【配音】如今，秀洲农民画走进手机、电脑游戏，或化身别致的工艺品，由市场走向世界各地。农民画作者不再是地地道道的农民，他们的画笔开始伸向村外。

　　Xiuzhou peasant painting was evolved into various products, and can be founded all around the world like mobile phone, computer games, art crafts, and so on. As peasant painters, they are not they were. They embark on a new journey with their brushes.

　　Zhoufei, who is the designer of Xiuzhou Peasant Painting Arts Creativity Co. Ltd in Jiaxing. She is striving to adopt new design concept to put elements of peasant painting into various peripheral products. The design is very novel, beautiful and practical.

　　【配音】时尚，流淌在一笔一画间。2013年，嘉兴秀洲农民画艺术创意有限公司成立，通过公司化运作模式，探索农民画产业化发展之路，打造“产品化、产业化、规模化”的中国农民画艺术创意产业链。现在，秀洲农民画还变身时尚文化创意品。以农民画为基础设计的服装、日用品、电子产品等，让农民画走进市民生活。

　　The great fashion always places in the details. Xiuzhou Peasant Painting Arts Creativity Co. Ltd was founded in 2013. With the operation mode of demutualization, breaking new ground in the exploration of the industrialization of peasant painting to extend the industrial chain of Chinese peasant painting with productization, industrialization and large-scale. Xiuzhou peasant painting has now evolved into fashionable cultural product. More and more peasant paintings will continue to come into locals’ life by peripheral products which are decorated with elements of peasant painting.

　　Peasant painting can be attractive only when united with the creativity and fashion, Xu Yanfei who is the vice-president of the company said.

　　目前已研发出近百件衍生产品。带着这些产品，秀洲农民画多次走进义乌文交会、浙江旅博会、深圳文博会等，一批描绘着农民画的丝巾、文具、箱包等产品受到了消费者的喜爱……

　　They have developed almost one hundred new products. They have been on exhibition such as Yiwu Fair, Zhejiang Tourism Fair, Shenzhen International Cultural Industries Fair, and so on. Scarves, stationery, bags and other products won affection of consumer everywhere.

4、秀洲农民画，越画越精彩。

　　作为秀洲文化的金名片，秀洲农民画汲取了传统的剪纸、刺绣、灶画、蓝印花布等民间艺术、造型夸张，色彩鲜艳，构图饱满，是独具江南水乡风格的民间绘画。

　　The peasant painting, especially in Xiuzhou Area long enjoyed a good reputation. Traditional paper cuttings, embroidery, stove wall painting and blue calico are built into Xiuzhou peasant painting. Artistic exaggeration, brightly colored and full composition were embodied in the painting of folk arts.

　　1983年至今，秀洲先后获得首批中国现代民间绘画画乡、中国民间文化艺术之乡、全国第十五届群星奖、中国最佳传统文化传承节庆……

　　Xiuzhou Area has been awarded many titles such as the first Chinese Modern Folk Arts Painting Town, Chinese Folk Culture Town, 15th National Qunxing (Galaxy) Award and the Chinese Best Traditional Culture Festival since 1983.
